With its high-density polyethylene build the cover can withstand over 400kg and has high impact resistance due to its internal build which contains high-strength steel bars. The Plastic Tuff Trench Cover is the first blow moulded trench cover on the market. Designed and manufactured in the UK, and made with Utility and Highway contractors in mind, this trench cover provides strong, durable and consistent protection for open areas on the footpath. Designed with an anti-slip pattern and anti-trip edges the trench cover can be fitted into the ground using the 4 fixing holes placed on the body, which turn the temporary trench cover into a long-lasting cover. The Safe Cover is a cheaper alternative to the Low pro 11/11, though it benefits from having a smaller footprint and is a lighter more manageable trench cover.
