Description
Simple enough, right? The best part is, setting it up and making soda with it is very easy and user-friendly. I found that it’s best to carbonate your water more than you would normally, to make up for the syrup which isn’t carbonated at all. We ended up discovering that we didn’t need to pour any water our of the bottle after carbonating the water — we just fizz the water, then put in syrup until the bottle is full up to the spot where the plastic forms a natural line, where the bottle goes from a steeper curve to a much shallower curve. We buy Pom from Costco and use just a couple tablespoons and a squeeze of lemon for a delicious drink! 3. Strawberry & Mint
If you’re looking for SodaStream flavors, we’ve written a blog post on the ones that are available to buy here. But, if you’re looking to make your own SodaStream recipes & DIY flavors, look no further! I’ve rounded up a list of my favorite ways to make my own SodaStream drinks. This is one of my favorite infusions! Slice half a cucumber and a half cup of cantaloupe. Infuse for 6-10 hours and then carbonate! 9. Pineapple & Mint I love my Sodastream! But, sometimes I get tired of the store-bought syrups & flavors that are available. (Or I’m just looking to save some money!) This may sound familiar, mixing syrup with carbonated water, because it’s exactly the same process as mixing Sodastream’s carbonated water with SodaSteam’s sparkling water flavours (which are syrups).Making soda with a SodaStream device and drinking it is considered to be a healthier alternative than drinking traditional sodas, such as Coca-Cola.
This SodaStream recipe is both fresh and tropical tasting. It makes a great mixer with rum as well! You can also make a syrup using the syrup and a can of pineapple and letting it soak with mint. You only need a bit for a great homemade SodaStream syrup. 10. Blueberry & Sage
Many users online have stated that they have made soda with SodaStream Cola syrup that tastes almost identical to a real Coca-Cola soda. Put in other words, this could mean that you really would not be saving any money by using Coca-Cola syrup to make your own soda, instead of just buying the soda cans from retail/grocery stores. Boil freshly 1/2 of fresh ground ginger for 20 minutes in 1 cup of water, and then strain. Add the ginger to your carbonated water with a squeeze of lemon. 5. Grapefruit & Blood Orange A simple squeeze of grapefruit and blood orange is a great way to flavor your SodaStream. 6. Lime & Raspberry dip into the water and the bottle will vanish from deem a seal is formed. Next, you carbonate your water
