About this deal

The nose is all butterscotch and vanilla. With just a hint of oak and some agave. The initial taste is more of the same with some caramel, maybe toffee and agave at the end. The body is a little thin, but the amazing taste more than makes up for it. The finish carries on and on. Which drives the enjoyability. The price is high, but I'm not sure this one isn't worth it. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Agriculture. 2020–2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Ninth Edition. Again, use a good quality dry vermouth such as Dolin Blanc. Good ingredients will make the drink that much better Unlike the traditional martini, the 1942 drink uses orange bitters. You could use any tequila of your choice, but many recipes call for Don Julio. The kind of tequila you use will slightly vary the taste of the drink, but most of its flavor do come from the bitters you use. O'Keefe JH, Bhatti SK, Bajwa A, Dinicolantonio JJ, Lavie CJ. I was the only guest for the day so i got to spend the whole day with my guide Andrea alone. It was a long trip that didn’t feel too long. We went to Arenal, Tequila and I got a very good and clear explanation from Andrea on everything from the chemistry of the distillation process to the economics of the tequila/mezcal industry. Got to learn a lot about Andrea’s life as well and felt like I made a friend by the end of the tour. Sallie SN, Ritou V, Bowden-Jones H, Voon V. I am not really sure why the drink is called a 1942 martini. There is a tequila that is known as the Don Julio 1942, it is quite possible that the drink somehow gets its name from the tequila that was used. Ingredients Aroma: butterscotchy-vanilla-creamy-caramel, oak, hint of agave and pepper. Nicely wrapped together. Schrieks IC, Joosten MM, Klöpping-Ketelaars WAA, Witkamp RF, Hendriks HFJ. Tips and NotesBody: The mouthfeel is really nice, but I personally don't mind a silky thin liquor anyway. This one's a tad heavier than medium, with no alcoholic burn! just enough to remind you it's alcoholic... in fact, I've had some heavy mixed drinks that had the same amount of burn. Very pleasant body overall.
