This book is a bit longer than the others, with a scope of childhood through marriage, that struggle to be educated in a world dominated by men, where it is assumed women serve men in certain ways (though her husband in their late teens is also a student and initially seems to support her seeking scholarly accomplishments, but he also has no models for how to properly do that. This is an autobiographical piece. She writes with a clarity and openness that I found very exhilarating.
