Description

Monster Java: This is a range of Monster Energy flavours that contains milk. That being said, the Java range has released a new edition. It is a dairy-free alternative based on Oat Milk and it is currently available in North America. It is called the Java Monster Farmer’s Oats. Monster launched the Rehab line to act as a triple-threat: to quench your thirst, to fire you up before a workout, and to act as a recovery drink. All of which use a very similar formula to the original energy drink. Albeit, the potential non-vegan ingredients are the same. Variation: The Monster Maxx line is essentially the original Monster injected with nitrous oxide for a smoother and unique texture. Other than that, the ingredients remain the same.

Java Monster Mean Bean | Brewed Coffee Energy Drink

Why? First of all, Monster Energy claims to use plant-based Taurine. Whilst taurine was initially derived from animal products, it can now be created synthetically without the use of animals.

This Monster Mean Bean Java Coffee + Energy in a can will start your day the Monster way, with a delicious vanilla bean flavour, you'll be wide awake in no time! If you are unsure whether the product has natural flavors derived from animals, you can question the company or manufacturer to be 100% sure. Good question. We mean, have you ever glanced at the ingredients on the can and wondered what it all means? When it comes to the health, nutrition, and source of its ingredients; there is much to debate. Is Monster Ultra vegan?

Monster Energy | Energy Drinks, Coffee, Tea, and Juice Monster Energy | Energy Drinks, Coffee, Tea, and Juice

Most of the range is vegan (Ultra Violet, Ultra White, Zero Ultra...), except for Monster Ultra Red in Europe and the UK ( see below) Monster Energy Ultra Red: While this range is vegan-friendly in North America, be careful in other countries. In the UK and some European countries, that version contains cochineal (aka E120 or Carmine), a natural red colour extracted from scale insects. Meaning it is not vegan either. Almost every product contains added colors and sugar. Both ingredients have gained a poor reputation within the vegan community, for obvious reasons. This being said, if the sugar can be proven to be filtered WITHOUT bone char, then the Java Monster formula is indeed vegan. (Unless you’re heavily against artificial colors) Is Punch Monster Also Vegan?Across the different Monster drinks, as well as other energy drinks, you’ll find a few typical ingredients — some of which, may or not be vegan. Are Natural Flavors Vegan? Akin to other formulas where tea and coffee are blended with carbonated water to form the Rehab and Java Monster line, the same happens with Juice Monster. Since these variations do not include animal-based ingredients, it seems the original Monster Energy line is suitable for vegans. This is unless you are heavily against artificial colors. Is Monster Energy Rehab Vegan? Sorry for having you read a lot of stuff, but evidently, there are some drinks within the Monster catalog we can’t drink.

Hence, this line can be considered vegan. (Unless you’re heavily against artificial flavors) Lastly, Is Monster Hydro Vegan? However, not all sugar is derived from sugarcane, and not all sugar derived from sugarcane is processed using bone char. In half of the cases, sugar is derived from sugar beets, and rather than bone char, some companies use granular activated charcoal to filter cane sugar. Most of the problematic ingredients you find in the Ultra line, you can find them in the former product lines: Natural flavors and added colors. Ultra Flavors:

Java Monster Vanilla Light | Low Calorie Coffee Energy Drink

None are flavors you can immediately distinguish from looking at the names, but that’s Monster’s (the brand) charm. They’re unique in that aspect. Aside from the natural flavors and the added colorings, Hydro also has sugar among the ingredients. This doesn’t immediately count the product out, but if the sugar is processed using bone char, then some vegans might be heavily against it.Overall, Monster Energy drinks are not necessarily the healthiest choice when it comes to natural hydration and energy, but they do offer vegan options. These contain artificial and natural flavors, but do not contain added colors. In other words, the Dragon Tea line is most likely vegan seeing how it doesn’t have animal-based ingredients.
