The smell is divine. It has decent projection, however, I feel as if the problem lies within the longevity. I just wish that it lasted longer. This is clearly salty Profumo. The blue scent remind me of an old fragrance when I was teenager (probably bvlgari aqua, polo or another blue) but I feel Profondo has a better blending notes. This can be worn all-year round, especially in summer and spring, but it still works in winter and fall. It's a more modern, oceanic take on Acqua di Gio. The DNA is unequivocally there, especially in the opening and into the dry-down, but the florals of the OG are toned down in favour of the marine salty mineral notes. It feels less dated, less mature (still very masculine), more breezy and even fresher. Performs great, unlike the majority of freshies out there, even more expensive ones. Definitely one of the best fragrances on the designer realm for those really hot summer days.After about 30 minutes, it becomes much more tolerable. It's basically Profondo (which I love) without the "blue marine" note. How similar? If the Profondo was a flanker of this, it'll make sense to call it the "EDP AQUA." Probably more office safe than Profondo. Pure go-to dumb reach scent when I don't want to think about what I want to spray, but nothing more. Clean and fresh fragrances. Projects well and has good performance. Works well for younger men in their 20's. I will say, that as it dries down it becomes more of a true blue sort of aroma. I get that mineral note that is so prevalent in Profumo and also a smooth, almost creamy smell coming through. Less salty and more of a Light Blue aquatic type of marine accord.
