L.S., A small comment to the first miniature. This is a charming depiction of the story of the dragon Tinnin, cunningly defeated by Alexander. The story first occurs in the Syriac Alexander Romance (in the translation by E.A. Wallis Budge, "The History of Alexander the Great, being the Syriac Version", Cambridge 1889, pp. 107-108). It has been translated into Arabic, in the ninth century, and it has been transmitted and reworked by many authors, among them Zakariya al-Qazwini (Aja'ib al-Makhluqat / Wonders of Creation). The above manuscript (with the miniature) is a translated, Persian, version of al-Qazwini's 'Wonders'. The miniature accurately shows the stages of the story, which can be surveyed as follows; Rkund excavation sepulcher scene: A depiction of the famous wizard of oz wizard room scene which depicts Latoria (cowardly lion), Kyre (tin man), Marassi (Scarecrow) and Madras (Dorothy) deliver the lines from that scene as they approach a large dwemer head which appears and says "I am Kaz, the great and powerful..." Much Ado About SNow Elves - after Calcelmo's "Lost expedition" quest, you will receive a letter by courier asking that you return to aid him in a quest to discover the fate of tyhe snow elves and uncover several relics.Tools of the Trade - Marassi leaves a map to several explorer relics in the safehouse for the player to find. Although the manuscript is in Persian, it was created and illustrated in India, probably in the 18 th century – it bears no date or names of the copyist or artist. The style of illustrations and design of the 2 manuscripts are very similar and so probably came from the same artist’s workshop – perhaps the artist died or was not paid for any more work and the manuscripts were sold off as unfinished and incomplete. The texts may have been selected to bring to a Western audience, accounting for their partial nature, but not for their unfinished state. Whatever the reason for the volume being created, its wonderful drawings and paintings repay detailed study. Legacy is equipped with the option to carry your displays forward into a new character's save! Simply by activating the feature at the "Contributor's Ledger" or turning the option on in the MCM configuration menu, that character's items and accomplishments will be displayed in other saves which also have the system enabled. Actual items are not accessible, but will remain displayed. If you retrieve a duplicate of that item in another playthrough and wish to store it, simply use the console to disable the display and then activate it to display the item.

madras: eventually will start a quest to help build a Dwemer planetarium. When utilized as a follower, Madras will accumulate all manner of Dwemer materials. He also offers the ancient technology turn in if you play the vampire side of the dawnguard questline. Excavation of the Ruins of Rkund - 10 days after the windcaller pass excavation wraps up, Marassi will greet you in the guild hall with information about the Rkdun excavation. By default the craftloot system is disabled but can be turned on in the MCM menu or by activating the craftloot toggle book to the left as you enter the workshop area. While it is enabled, using any craft station in the safehouse will loot any supply item that currently is set to sort in the MCM menu which is common for that station to utilize. When used, the station will first give you all supply crafting items and then enter into crafting like normal. After the station is left, the items will return to storage. If the system starts to cause issues due to to excessive stored items, either thin your supplies or disable the craftloot system to avoid problems. When exploring Dwemer ruins, Nordic ruins, or Snow Elf ruins, Giant camps, Forsworn hideouts, etc, various displays will enable automatically in the Hall of Lost Empires. Alternately, if these displays are not working for you, you may enable them in the MCM configuration menu.

Once you have all your unique and rare books sorted via the prep station or manually placed, you can empty the rest into the Book Return on the second floor library (between the library section and the Dragonborn Hall). After emptying your books into the Return, activate the card catalog sorter across from it. The books will then be sorted into the various category book cases on that floor (Alphabetical, Numerical, Spells, Skill Books, Notes, Journals, etc). Please note that this sorter is NOT for scrolls or any other item type and may cause problems if you try. fol. 1-89b): 'Ain al-Haiyat, or The Substance of the Lives, an abbreviation in Arabic of the famous Haiyat al-Haiyawan or Lives of the Animals of Damiri. The abbreviation was written by Damamini. 'The fifth treatise of the second volume of the Book of Wonders of the Age, or an account of the conditions on land- and sea-animals, comprising a preface and 28 chapters, according to the letters of the alphabet, with the names of animals and descriptions of their peculiarities and an explanation.' The writer has left the translation unfinished or has failed to transcribe completely an earlier Persian version, as it ends with the male partridge instead of ending with the queen-bee. After sorting books, use the left card catalog to update the book list. All books stored or displayed in the library can be read simply by sitting in any of the chairs of the library. Your inventory will then be populated with all books from the book list and upon standing once again, the books will be removed.Forgotten the title or the author of a book?
