FCUK Connect Her by FCUK is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Top notes are Lotus, Bergamot and Lily-of-the-Valley; middle notes are Jasmine, Peony and Violet; base notes are Sandalwood, Amber, Musk and Virginia Cedar. This week I've been exploring the so-called 'cheapies', and I must say that from what I've tested, half of these fragrances are worthy of a higher price tag and glitzy advertising. A week ago, I read somewhere that this scent develops beautifully in summer. Wow! What a wonder! Indeed, the sweet smell associates with the lotus flower, but also with raspberries and cherries in tasty syrup (no such fruit in the composition). Besides, I sense something fresh juicy, what goes into an intriguing focus. It's probably bergamot. The sillage is, however, weak. Though it is moderate for one hour, it becomes weaker as time passes.

Aye, it does smell milky in the opening. Extremely milky actually ! Buttery and coconutty, citrusey and woody. Marvellous blend! By the way, I really liked the bottle and it's design. The spritzer works really well and I like how unique the bottle is. These are different, but there are similarities with a clean & slightly soapy floral bouquet. The opening is a little sharper in Omnia Crystalline. OC outperforms.

The first spray is very sharp and sweet, but in a masculine way. Think Boss Bottled, which I love even though everyone's using it. It lasts about 4h, sillage is not very good (but nobody wants to wear a sillage monster at work). It smells expensive and it's suitable for all seasons. it was given to me as a gift, i tried so hard to like it, it was too airy even empty for my taste. nothing really special about it. i cannot understand why its listed in the oriental category though!

It does remind me slightly of " Kingdom" by McQueen - the same Oriental spicy vibe, but if Kingdom is suggestive and sexy; FCUK Connect is delicious and comfy, rather floriental gourmand smell: creamy, musky and muscat y... I was given FCUK as a gift because I liked Om by The Gap and it has been discontinued. I was warned about the name but still had to do a double take. If anyone ever asked what I was wearing, I would have to take a moment's pause to make sure I didn't slip up. So, yeah, the name is a negative for me. I don't find it at all amusing though I could see how others might.i dint fall in love with at first, but then as it started to settle on my skin i kinda liked it, but i do not smel rose at all, and sandalwood is too strong, its lasting power is good on me. FCUK is a British fashion empire which incidentally this logo and brand reflect it's 'French Connection'. I guess you could say that the scent is a little outrageous and daring, somewhat suited to those girls that enjoy the attention, the ones that like to stand out in a crowd. Actually I'd recommend FCUK Connect for Her for clubbing, it suits that crowded and intense atmosphere well.
