I did read this last year but I wasn´t really into it and also skipped a lot inside the book because I wasn't having it. Murder, wrongly-convicted killers, class differences, summery beach town vibes, the similarities between I Killed Zoe Spanos and OBX go on and on. So take a break from watching fan videos on Youtube and let this book fill the void left behind by Outer Banks. The majority of the novel's action occurred during their college years in the 60's in Alabama. I was taken in by the girls' relationships and the ways their friendships ebbed and flowed.
