The old playground at Plaza de la Constitución has been renovated to become the first Playmobil playground in the municipality. Another great area was the unicorn and fairy section. They were really a lot of fun. My boys never mention that they particularly like dinosaurs, but when they were faced with some right in front of them, they couldn’t stop saying how “cool” they were. I have to say that, the Playmobil Fun-Park was exactly what is says on the tin – full of Playmobil and fun. Without a doubt, it was one of the places the kids really enjoyed and even recently asked if we can go there again. There are also few splash and water play areas which come in very handy on a hot day. What could be nicer than romping and playing outside in the fresh air? The Adventure Playground offers everything that little bundles of energy need to have real fun. Slide, tire swing, climbing wall, of course all playground equipment has to be tested properly. Children's favourite is the great crocodile seesaw, on which they can bounce and swing for hours. While the children play, daddy makes himself comfortable on the bench. There 2 main pirate boats that the kids can climb all up into and play around in as well. There were also little raft boats they can row themselves over the lake, water cannons to shoot, rope bridges to carefully walk over the water, and so much more.

Getting to Playmobil Park is quite easy. First you need to get to Nuremberg which has its own airport with a reasonable selection of low-cost and legacy airlines connections. Even I had so much fun in this area and it was tempting to just spend half the day pretending to loot and pirate on the high seas! When you arrive, there is a parking garage (5 Euro/ Day) which is just a 2 minute walk to the main entrance. There were TONS of spots, so no need to worry about finding a parking location. Tip #4: There is a Free Electric Car Charger in the Garage! We got to the Mermaid Kingdom just as the sun FINALLY began to shine, which was absolutely perfect timing because The Little Mermaid in me couldn’t stand the thought of having to skip over this enchanting section! There was so much for kids to do here as well! There were plenty of little ones just digging in the sand, other kids were wading in the mermaid pools, while others sat WITH the mermaids and some ran through the coral reefs!
