They don't get along and Ruby finds them quite bossy. Like the rest of her friends she isn't too fond of them. Her and Jade have similar tastes and they seem to be good friends as well as roommates. In the animated series, she started liking him when the cheer guidelines were given in the episode, " Bring On Rainbow Cheer". In " Amaya's Time", River asked her other out after a lot of awkward failed attempts. Amaya agreed to this. In " Rainbow Vision Rifts "Audition Begins"" however, things took a turn for the worse when River felt like he needed a break from them and broke up with her. Then in " Dance It Out" she wouldn't let him talk and was very mad showing that she might never forgive him. However in " ...Now On with the Show!" after Natasha's performance was sabotaged from the perfume sent being turned on and malfunctioned, Amaya was looking for River, she asked Luna and Natasha if they have seen him, after they found each other they hugged on the stairs, then they stopped and give each other a smile, showing that they might be on good terms. The logo on the hat featured in her signature outfit bears resemblance to caps made by the apparel brand Von Dutch.
Bradshaw is a surname meaning "broad wood or copse" from the Old English "brad and sceaga". Bradshaw may also come from the character Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City; the character was a writer at Vogue magazine. Ruby appears in the runway show, wearing her daring outfit previously shown to be designed by Skyler. Ruby talks about how important strength, art, and expression are for her life in and out of Rainbow High during her monologue. Working with the rest of her friends, they pass their runway project, and Ruby even gets surprised with seeing Bella's return near the end.

While being not as close as her other friends, Krystal asks Bella if she can be featured on The SCENE so she can tell how she got un-expelled in Rainbow High.Sunny was also the first to welcome Amaya, and overall was the friendliest towards her despite the awkward situation surrounding Bella's expulsion. She was the only one who really noticed and complimented Amaya. Their bond grew over the time they had to work together. At the close of 2020, the brand got independent from other MGA brands and got complemented with an audiovisual franchise of in-universe-branded web series of computer-animated shorts and episodes which were predominantly released on YouTube and later made available on Netflix. While starting out typical, Bella and Violet's relationship changed forever when Violet posted Bella's expulsion onto the internet, unintentionally humiliation Bella. She then calls Jade, demanding that she tell Violet to take the video off the internet. Once confronted, Violet denies taking the video down, not fully grasping how hurt Bella truly is. After Jade and Ruby gives her a taste of her own medicine, Violet removes the video and apologizes to Bella, mending their relationship. They are still good friends.

Despite barely even knowing each other, Amaya and Bella have a rather complicated relationship. Amaya first learns of her after meeting her runway group, learning that she is in fact her replacement. Amaya feels guilty about this, however Bella appears rather bitter towards her. They were later seen talking in " The Eclipse - Phase One, Part Two", suggesting that they have become friends.
