I may have initially rolled my eyes at some of the romcom tropes that got them there but, I am a deffo fan of the "only-one-bed-trope" and the accidental counselling that helped them better communicate possibly tipped this book for me alongside the "bathroom" humour...and nope, it's not what you might think but it was such fun to see the characters grow and adapt from knowing one another 😂 I have seen many say that they'd have liked an epilogue, 🤷 sure deffo wouldn't go astray but obvs didn't take away from my massive enjoyment of this book. That ending with the aunts & her mother was perfect to me - equal parts hopeful and hilarious 😎

Character driven stories are my thing, but this had plenty of plot to keep the story moving and it was entertaining as hell. The balance of heart and humour was done right for me. I always love it when vulnerabilities and traumas are explored in my stories and the side characters shined as much as our main characters too. THIS was just the funny steamy romcom read I was craving. I have no doubt that the current state of the world & social distancing is skewing my rating upwards but tbh I really don't care...I needed a laugh and some feelgood feelz & this came through for me in spades 🤣🤩😂😍🔥

So my rating has been lowered. Franchesca is the maid of honor at her best friend's wedding. She loves her best friend dearly, as well as the groom. The rest of the wedding party, though? They're pretty awful. Rich, vapid, and shallow. Everything Frankie is not. Then there is the richest of the richest, best man Aiden Killbourn. He may be rich, but Aiden is a great guy. Frankie just has trouble seeing it at first. Frankie and Aiden butt heads and when they have to work together to save the wedding they're involved in, they get to know each other a little bit better.
