Description

Newton grew up in rural Louisiana and developed a love of reading and writing at a young age. She studied English and education in college and worked as a teacher before turning to writing full-time. just got fired from her job, by her “best friend” Angela. Lottie and Angela has always had a toxic friendship, but Lottie has finally reached her limit with Angela. Problem is just that nobody besides Lottie’s sister Kelsey can know that she got fired. Lottie is desperate to find a new job, move out of her parents house, and pay all her debts. Therefore Lotta decides to go for a run on a rich neighborhood as a joke, but then she runs into Huxley. what i mean by acts of service was; him giving lottie his best car so she can travel between the houses of her family easily, sending the pictures of jeff’s (lottie’s step father) garden to garden committee so they can win the best garden prize, sending flowers to lottie’s mom to congratulate her, arranging his whole work schedule so kelsey (lottie’s sister) can present her business to him.. he cares about lottie, and lottie cares about those people, so he made his business to keep them all happy. he also sent meals and desserts for the families of the workers who has been wounded in one of his buildings; he is incredibly kind and thoughtful. he even remembered that one of lottie's wishes was to lay in rain, so the second it rained he took her to roof and laid down in rain with her. he even took her to her favorite artist’s concert, how can you not love him when all he does is showing he cares about her?

I still hate the contemporary focus. While, yes, I'm well known for my dark romances, which are contemporary, I'm equally as well known for my highly-charged paranormal romances with dark elements. I will give you the rest of that Chat GPT. A bit pretty and clean for my grittier writing style, but it gets the same point across. Sister, Kelsey and brothers JP & Breaker were wonderful and I can't wait to read the rest of the series that follow them.Separation: Yes They are separated shortly (day/s?), but there was no mention or suggestion of other partners during this time. Well, don’t be fooled, this still reads like a na story, and truly it should have been one, because the characters do not read like adults, but rather they should have been written as early twenty somethings.

Her content typically falls within the contemporary romance genre, with a focus on steamy and emotional love stories. Newton's novels often feature complex characters, intense relationships, and explore themes such as love, passion, personal growth, and healing. She is known for creating strong, independent heroines and alpha male heroes who captivate readers with their chemistry and journey towards a fulfilling romance. Because my (not so) meet cute was unexpected to say the least. I was in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me on as their bride, you know, as you do. Because I'm not just an author. I stream on Twitch, make content on social media, and do video content.) lottie: funniest protagonist i have ever read. the second i read that she imagined that the imperial march was playing in hux's head because he looked so emotionless, i knew i was going to love her. aside for her funny personality, she was confident, realistic, honest and strong, which are all the traits i adore in a person. she was mature enough to admit that her fear of conflict made her pursue her friendship with angela; she was aware that she was a toxic friend, but her actions didn’t make lottie to question her capabilities, instead she was always conscious of how much of a strong and skilled woman she is. also she was so straightforward, she didn’t hesitate to question hux’s actions and she has always been honest about her feelings. My meet cute (well, not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me. It started to drag and then it just kept on dragging. ( Apart from some funny scenes here and there the plot just wasn’t very interesting past the 20/30% mark) Peterpaul, Robert (June 21, 2021). "Meet Cute Movie Reportedly Eyes Kaley Cuoco & Pete Davidson To Star". Screen Rant . Retrieved August 25, 2021. Life got in the way for me for a while but I FINALLY read Meghan's latest book. A Not So Meet Cute was a great play on the pretty woman fake relationship scenario. Huxley is our Hero, a self made man running a realtor business with his two brothers. He gets himself into a situation to impress a potential client and agrees to dinner and he has to bring a long his pregnant fiancé. However Huxley's doesn't have a fiancé at all let alone a pregnant one. The savvy, sharp and steamy rom-com inspired by Pretty Woman from bestselling author Meghan Quinn that you won't want to miss!

I'm also an author and content creator who sees the trepidation on the horizon that we could be replaced, but I also hope that the world will finally come to understand that writers do isn't easy. No one wakes up and writes the best content the world has ever seen. It's really the point of this exercise with ChatGPT. I don't want it to appear that I'm not a fan of it because, as I said at the start, I can see its usefulness in many ways. There is still just a human element that's needed to keep it honest and working right. The heroine was not likeable past the beginning of the book. She was inexplicably mean and childish in her behaviour towards the hero. While I’m not gonna say that he was some great paragon of virtue - he was just a normal guy who made a deal and paid out huge amounts of money for what was simply a few hours of her pretending to “love” him in front of someone else. We're talking about living in a mansion, intimate double dates, and pretending we were head over heels in love . . . and engaged. Can you imagine?

Ok, I hated this book. Truly. It pains me to say this because I generally do enjoy Meghan Quinn’s NA genre stories, but her last few adult romances have been horrible. I thought I’d give her another chance with this one as the story seemed interesting - meet cute with a billionaire and a 28 yo fmc? Sounded great, especially since I prefer stories with adults vs the na genre romances THE ENDING was just okay... at first, I thought there was going to be minimal drama with how things were going, but then that didn't end up being the case 😣 It all came together eventually, but it's just hard to find a romcom where I don't find the drama that causes the inevitable fallout too over to the top and obnoxious But next thing I knew, I was scarfing down free chips and guac, listening to this man lay out all of his problems which led to his big ask . . . he wanted me to be his Vivian Ward, you know, from Pretty Woman–minus the frisky behavior. What follows are hilarious situations, some awkward, that allow Huxley and Lottie to discover their true feelings. From Lamaze/Sex Positions class to breast pump adjustment to Plastic One Eyed Bad Baby class, I’M DYING!!! Behind closed doors, Huxley has trouble trusting people, which definitely brings out Lottie’s cheekiness, but he eventually finds that he loves Lottie’s qualities; Fortunately, she finds many positive qualities in Huxley.

My meet cute (well not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me. i actually enjoyed the characters! the characters were surprisingly multifaceted and (gasp!) i didn’t really get annoyed by them, which is rarer in contemporary romance than i would like. WARNING: Please note that this article also contains spoilers and profanity. The spoilers are not intended to keep you from reading the book but rather to inform you and encourage you to read the book if the content is something you enjoy. Any profanity found in this post is also found in the book. TL;DR Heat level: Hot. They have some hot tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.

replace ‘she’ with 'this book', and this is what i think about a not so meet cute. i would definitely recommend this if you feel like you are getting into a slump, or just want to laugh your ass off without expecting too much 💗 So there you have it. I haven’t written this much in a review in a while lol, but I really was disappointed - and mostly annoyed, but I did finish this hot mess. I've written two short stories. Two. Unless it means my novellas, I wouldn't say it's something I'm known for. As it says 50 books, which I'm nearly double that, I should read short stories as novellas here. It may be splitting hairs, but the distinctions are important when it comes to forms of publication. way, way too many eff bombs. Like really - an unnecessary, distracting amount. Just because the characters are adults doesn’t mean they need to be written so narrowly. Who talks like this in real life? No one I know. Overall, it was a fun exercise, but it showed me that AI is still a tool to enhance what we do, not replace it. Working to brainstorm, research, or play with ideas can be helpful to authors. My recommendation is for us to approach it like marketers.
