About this deal

However, in "Frozer", he tries again to woo Ladybug despite knowing about her feelings for someone else and when they show up to deal with the akuma he acts coldly toward her. Interest in fashion — Marinette is a budding fashion designer while Adrien has been a model for his father's fashion line. But while Marinette genuinely enjoys it, Adrien doesn't particularly like modeling and only does it to make his father happy. Thinking Up Portals: As Pegasus, he is able to create portals through space with his special power, Voyage. Clark Kent Outfit: Luka's civilian clothes hide his muscular physique despite how apparently thin they are. While not as muscular as Kim, both his hero and two akumatized supervillains identities show that he still have impressive body shape. Dogged Nice Guy: And Girl, but both are Zigzagged. For Marinette, she is smitten with Adrien but he only sees her as a good friend. On the other hand, Cat Noir (Adrien) is in love with Ladybug (Marinette), but she assumes his flirting isn't serious and while occasionally annoyed by his antics, she does care for him. In other words, their feelings for one another are returned...kind of.

Superpowered Evil Side: "Queen Wasp" shows that not even Miraculous holders are immune to Akumatization. If Hawk Moth akumatizes them when they have their Miraculouses active, they will be granted a powered-up version of their main power they can use at will without dropping their transformation, which is demonstrated by Queen Wasp's wasp swarm that can paralyze multiple targets and Cat Blanc's infinite power of destruction. The Frog-Kisser was in high school when she first discovered her power. Dating the captain of the football team has left her drained and unfulfilled. That’s when she discovered Brian, the head of the debating club, and her latent powers emerged. Bilingual Bonus: The Tsurugi family crest on Kagami's ring is the Japanese word for "woman" with a sword in it. Nice Girl: She is extremely loyal, supportive, and helpful, like going out of her way to encourage and (sometimes literally) push Marinette into spending time with Adrien. Ascended Extra: Downplayed, as she was never exactly unimportant, but in season 4 Marinette tells her her secret and she’s made a full-time partner, even being allowed to keep her Miraculous. Since then Alya has had several focus episodes in season 4, including one where she is the actual protagonist of it and uses the Ladybug Miraculous instead of Marinette, and has gone from a supporting character to a main one. Anchored Ship: While they do have crushes on each other, they'll never be able to get together until 1. their identity issues are resolved and 2. Hawk Moth is removed from the equation. Triple Shifter: They have to juggle superhero work, schoolwork and various family obligations. This often cuts into time with their friends and their sleeping habits.

Purple Tigress (Juleka Couffaine)

Heroic Sacrifice: In "Mayura", she throws herself in the path of one of Dark Cupid's arrows, which was meant for Carapace.

She considers herself not worthy to fight against her mother. She's correct; "worth" in this case refers to kenjutsu skill, and though she's a superb swordswoman, she's not on her mother's level. It is also a very interesting analysis of love. The story had the potential to be really cheesy and over-the-top but Kaufman manages to keep it under control. There is enough humour and self-awareness here that it doesn’t become saccharine. Kaufman does a pretty decent job of recreating the feelings you experience when you’re dating. We see Tom go through different stages of his romantic history and, despite the slightly unique setting, there is so much familiarity here. It’s a unique and very inventive way to play out a love story but this one works on every level. It was an absolute delight to read and has a strong understanding of how much to give. To Adrien — As stated above in the section, both of them lonely prodigies from an upper class family, and Kagami has a family ring that mirrors Adrien's Miraculous. But, while Adrien has a more friendly if slightly reserved personality, Kagami is more aggressive and is more reserved than he is. Ultimately, both want to have friends, an effort that initially goes poorly due to having No Social Skills and strict parenting but eventually succeeds. Smart People Wear Glasses: Max wears Nerd Glasses and is the smartest one in Marinette's class. His Miraculous is even a pair of glasses.Power Dyes Your Hair: His hair changes to light grey when he uses the Horse Miraculous, not unlike Kaalki's mane. The Corruptible: While everyone being this is standard for the akumatized villains, Kagami is second only to Chloe in having the most akumatized forms of all the Miraculous Team with four: Riposte, Oni-Chan, Lies, Ryukomori, and if you count Riposte Prime, then it turns into a whooping five. Taking the Bullet: In "Deflagration", he protects Marinette disguised as Ladybug from getting Venom'd by Monarchbug by taking the hit himself.

It really depends on which Green Lantern one is referring to, as there are thousands upon thousands. The entire Green Lantern storyline is so engaging because, just as there is the Marvel universe or the DC universe, it's as though the Green Lantern universe could easily be its own thing. There are various different Green Lanterns one could follow, and there are more conflicts and villains than any other superhero has, except the Batman family, because those guys have a big heap on their plate. The Green Lantern rings themselves are a very creative concept, more so than most of the other superheroes on this list. Think about Thor, for example - he was already a character of much fame! A Norse god! Anyway, all of the conflicts between Hal Jordan, Earth, his fellow Lanterns, and his nemesis (Sinestro), and even his bosses (the Guardians), create a storyline that is incredibly engaging. Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Zigzagged. Both are encouraging towards one another when the other is feeling forlorn, but usually Marinette is a sweet and compassionate person (Gentle Girl) and Adrien has a boatload of parental issues with his time as Cat Noir being a way to actually be himself (Brooding Boy). However, due to the duo's complicated relationship, which has them being close but at the same time not being close to one another, leads to neither one having open and proper conversations. Deadpool is my favorite character, and it isn't just because of his messed-up moral compass and his dark humor. I like Deadpool for all he is worth: a man who has lost his family twice, gotten cancer, been experimented on numerous times, been labeled a failure in the Canadian Weapon-X program (which also messed up his head, plus giving him the looks of a rotten tomato), and lost friends and lovers numerous times. All of this he hides under a mask, a smile, and some jokes. I love the character not just for his humorous fourth-wall-breaking and the smiles he puts on my face, but also because of the tears he makes me shed. After all the things that have happened to him, after being labeled a failure and being rejected by society, he still continues to live in hope for something better. Green Arrow Green Arrow is a fictional superhero who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Morton Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in November 1941. His real name is Oliver Queen, a billionaire businessman and owner of Queen Industries, also a well-known celebrity in his locale of Star City.Romantic False Lead: He's set up throughout Seasons 2 and 3 as a potential alternate love interest for Marinette. They get together in the Season 3 finale, but break up in the Season 4 premiere. Designs — They are a Hair-Contrast Duo who sport a downplayed Red/Green Contrast in their superpowered forms, and subtle inverted color schemes ◊ in their civilian outfits.
