About this deal

A free-standing mixer like a KitchenAid can be really handy when making recipes like this. There is quite a bit of whisking involved, so the mixer can do it all for you using the ballon whisk attachment. It’s best to use an electric hand mixer, or a stand mixer, to whisk up the double cream. It will take much longer by hand and require a lot of work!

Easy Mini Egg Ice Cream (No Churn) - Fuss Free Flavours Easy Mini Egg Ice Cream (No Churn) - Fuss Free Flavours

There is no ice cream maker needed! Since it's a no-churn recipe you'll just need an electric mixer to whip the cream - no special equipment is required.

Vegan ice cream is available in most supermarkets worldwide. Brands like Hagen Daaz and Ben and Jerry's make some vegan versions of their flavours. Or vegan brands like Oatly and Swedish Glace are pretty common too. Serve in halved Easter eggs instead of bowls and top with Mini Eggs, Mini Creme Eggs, whipped cream and topping sauces. As this is an ice cream, it obviously needs to be kept in the freezer. Pop the date you made the ice cream on the lid so you know when to use it up by (2 months from the date you made it).

Egg Ice Cream: No Churn Recipe Easy Cadbury Mini Egg Ice Cream: No Churn Recipe

The recipe card with ingredient quantities and detailed instructions can be found at the bottom of the post Make sure the melted chocolate is cool before adding it to the whipped cream mixture - if it's too warm it will cause the cream to flatten and you'll get a less smooth result in the chocolate ice cream swirls. Pour the mixture into your ice cream tub. I didn’t have any tubs so I used a 2L loaf tin. Once you have poured the mixture in add some Crème Eggs to the top. I used normal sized eggs and cut them in half lengthways following the join line. Sure! Though the ice cream scoops would become a little too hard to eat. So it's best to make your Easter egg sundae when you want to serve it. Can I make these Easter egg sundaes in a different quantity?
