It’s a cold Christmas Eve on the snowy stress of Victorian London, and preparations for another meagre Christmas are well underway. But not for Ebeneezer Scrooge – the cruellest, wealthiest woman in town. Featuring brand-new music from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, writers of the unforgettable Let it Go, this is one of London’s unmissable Christmas shows. This book can be used for so many different areas of the EYFS and National Curriculum and children can really have fun with the book developing their own ideas. How I would use this book as part of the run up to Christmas would be over a series of lessons across the curriculum. I would use it for children to write their list to Santa for literacy. For Maths we could look At counting and exploring number bonds. Children could also make their own version and as a fabulous finish we could make the food in story for a party.
