Gup-Z - a Gup in the movie, The Ring of Fire. It's A-5, which means almost everyone can use it. The trailers state that it is the ultimate Gup used to rescue sea creatures from erupting undersea volcanoes. It is built to look like a Mantis Shrimp or a Vent shrimp.. The 3 parts are: Vent shrimp, Mantis Shrimp and the 5 smaller Gups.

The team takes Tweak’s new station into the deepest part of the ocean, where they encounter strange creatures and hazardous conditions. When red-hot volcanoes start a chain reaction of disasters across the ocean, the Octonauts must work together to face their biggest challenge yet. They use the recently created GUP-Z, (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Mega Gup Z, and Gup Z Mantis Shrimp Mode), to save many creatures, including an Omura's whale, some chinstrap penguins, and many more creatures from various volcanoes and one giant volcano. Gup-C - a large Gup, based on a Bowhead whale, with a large towline. This is the only Gup Shellington can pilot safely. The towline is for pulling Gups out of wedged objects. The window at the top is used for the icebreaker attachment. Shellington and the Vegimals are on a mission to replant a mangrove forest that is put in peril by a school of toothy barracudas. When Peso's patient, a remora fish, mysteriously disappears, the Octonauts enlist a unique undersea detective - a harbour seal.Peso is going home to Antarctica to watch an annual penguin triathlon, the Iron Clam Competition, but learns to his dismay that his little brother Pinto has entered him in it. With the Octonauts cheering him on, Peso will have to slide, dive and swim his way to victory, against the annual athletic winner, Hugo. Kwazii has a pirate map showing the location of a sunken treasure ship that allegedly harbours a Kraken-like a sea monster, but it turns out to be an octopus that can change colour to camouflage himself. Captain Barnacles' niece and nephew Ursa and Orson are going to get their Polar Scout Badges when they spot three walrus pups on a drifting floe which is on a crash-course with two icebergs. Will Captain Barnacles be able to save them and finally earn the Walrus Rescue Badge - the only one he hasn't got? Down in the darkness of the ocean deep, Peso and the Octonauts must help a tiny, injured dwarf lantern shark. But they have to find him first since he's so small! As newborn baby sea turtles make their way to the ocean, the Octonauts must help them avoid predators when a large wave threatens the island where the precious eggs are buried - not that they'll admit it! Barnacles and Kwazii investigate a disruption on a nearby reef; A carrier crab and the urchin he keeps on top of his shell as a defence against predators has a falling out and just can't seem to get along. The Octonauts venture inside a whale shark again (see Series 1, episode 1), this time they need to rescue a porcupine puffer fish named Puffy before it's too late!Gup-J - a relatively new Gup that is kind of like a hydro scooter. Only the toy Gup Speeder has been made. Theory has been set to it's appeared in The Octonauts Movie: The Underwater Caves of Sac Actun, but it's probably not as toy has been made for the speeder that is said to be the Gup-J, and the toy that has been made is in fact not the Gup-J toy. It is a completely different speeder that comes with a Tweak in a special suit. When Kwazii gets lost at sea aboard the tiny octo-ski, he meets a flotilla of even tinier sea skaters, the only insects of the ocean. But when the Octopod gets covered in plankton by giant waves and the Octo-Hatch won't open, Barnacles and the rest must save their ship once again! Gups are special underwater submarine-like vehicles that the Octonauts use. There are currently 26 Gups (not including the so called " Terra Gups" from Octonauts: Above and Beyond) known in Octonauts, but not all of them have been seen. Most have appeared in the episodes and specials of the series, and at least 5 have appeared in the two movies ( The Underwater Caves of Sac Actun , Octonauts and the Great Barrier Reef and the The Octonauts Movie: The Ring of Fire.).

In a rare journey into fresh waters (a river), the Octonauts follow some migrating eels and help an injured eel on his difficult journey when he gets stranded from the others. Gup-K - The Gup-K was invented by Tweak. It is half swamp boat and half tank. Barnacles drove the Gup-K in The Great Swamp Search to save the Everglades from a wildfire. Its design was based on an alligator. Tweak had the idea for this Gup since she was a little bunny. Her father, Ranger Marsh, tends to call it a big, noisy hunk of junk, mainly because he did not understand her way with her "gadgets and gizmos". Though, he came to understand its use and found it quite enjoyable to ride in, especially when it went underwater in The Nine Banded Armadillo.Gup-T - It was built after a sea pig, and is a rescue rover. It is probably going to be used for seafloor or land traveling hence the wheels. A young dolphin follows Kwazii home while he's babysitting him and the Octonauts must search for his mummy.
