About this deal

The new buttons are no longer membrane buttons, they are mechanical switches. I'm really excited to see how these will feel and perform Up for adding vibration, down for reducing vibration. 4 levels vibration adjustment. The lowest level is vibration off.

Turn on controller, press the Gear button and APG button together to turn controller into Read/Write mode, connect controller to PC with a USB data cable, a flash drive "GuliKit dat" will show up and you will see a file "Auto.apg" which is the APG recording file for Auto Pilot Gaming. Those new ABXY buttons managed to register every single press that I’ve made during my button-mashing marathon. However, I do feel fatigue after a while since the buttons are a little stiff in comparison to the Xbox One X controller, for example.

Please Note

I think ergonomics is much better than 8bitdo ultimate. The way it's designed is very close to Xbox and I like that. I didn't face any issues after a long play session (the biggest plus) * But, I can think of a reason why you’ll want to disable deadzone – that is if you’re using this controller to play FPS games that require the tiniest of movement. I’m not doing a good explanation here – so I hope this comparison is enough for you.

I was facing some input latency on my PC, I solved that by putting the controller on switch mode and emulating the controller via reWASD (I bet other apps might work too) now I get 15ms on Bluetooth and 7ms wired (the same as my Xbox controller). The KingKong 2 Pro Wireless has build quality that meets and beats similarly priced controllers like the 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller and PowerA Fusion Pro 2. This is the big one and the reason why I ended up returning the 8bitdo. THE ERGONOMICS. I really loved this controller, but the way it’s designed to hold is very weird for my big hands. While you can't really notice it in photos, the handles are kinda straight compared to Xbox and KK2 pro (those two are more tilted) this small difference caused me some major inconvenience during long competitive gaming sessions. I can't say if everyone would report the same issue because my wife enjoyed it just fine, but she has smaller hands. If you’re already a gamer that owns multiple different platforms – PC, Switch (the main focus), Android, iOS – then yes, the GuliKit King Kong 2 Pro is a fantastic controller. Its ability to remember all the devices that it has previously paired to is a huge timesaver for Windows PC since their Bluetooth menu is atrocious. Top 10 Outliers: 49.93 ms, 42.33 ms, 41.55 ms, 41.45 ms, 41.28 ms, 41.25 ms, 41.18 ms, 40.28 ms, 40.23 ms, 40.22 msXbox and PlayStation players should beware that the KingKong 2 Pro doesn’t support either console. It’s only compatible with Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS.
