With nearly three months to go until Christmas, Quality Street said it decided to introduce the new flavour to meet consumer demand. The new variety becomes the brand’s 12th flavour after one of the toffee flavours was discontinued last year. The couple on the Quality Street tin are known as The Major and Miss. Their real names are Phoebe Throssel and Valentine Brown who are characters from a play called Quality Street.
