This is yet another one of those books that are in the same vein as the Blood And Ash series AND I LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT! I mean, it's eerily close to From Blood and Ash (book 1) if you substitute the word "Maiden" with "Starblessed. In fact, if this series keeps moving in the direction it is now, it might just become one of my top fantasy series of all time. The premise must got you thinking that you're in for one hot, spicy, forbidden romance but I’d say this book lacks tension and happened to be one of the blandest books I’ve read. I'm hooked and I'm so into seeing what's going to happen next to Evren and Adara I can't wait for book 2 coming out later this year!When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, pretending to be a dragon for the hundredth time that day, being disgustingly in love with her husband, or chilling in the middle of the lake with her sunglasses and a float. Romantasy (romantic fantasy) seems to be my newest obsession and may be on its way to become my favorite genre. The chemistry between these two lovers is darkly sensual and leads to many moments of stolen pleasure that keeps both coming back for more. I feel like I'm struggling to find a good fantasy romance book these days - I feel like either the romance is good and the fantasy sucks or vice versa.

The plot, the characters, the romance, the world, literally everything about it gets an A plus from me! I saw the twists coming from a mile away, but it was still interesting to get through them to see how Adara would react as she was the one that was completely clueless while for the readers the clues were laid out for us throughout the book. It's more: I like you, I feel a connection but I don't want to betray my kingdom or my future husband.

I'm still going strong on kindle unlimited and couldn't resist reading this when it was recommended to me. Every lamp and the glow of the fire had completely disappeared, and I grasped the post of my bed as I tried to see in front of me. Unless you close your eyes and imagine that his fingers are mine, I think the only thing my brother will leave you is wanting. The sparks immediately flew between Adara and Evren upon their first meeting, but what future is there for the promised bride of the Crown Prince and a Captain of the Guards.

He's strong, hot, sarcastic, powerful, playful, a little bit of an asshole (my kryptonite), half motherfucking vampire, and as skilled on the battlefield as he is in the bedroom. A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows is a fantasy romance featuring Fae and Vampyres and it's perfect for fans of From Blood and Ash.The characters felt so dull I couldn't pinpoint a single characteristic about either main character and her boyfriend-in-law if it was biting my ass. And the words he uses and his touches have the beautiful Adara the starblessed beauty who's been promised to his brother all twisted in knots and her body on fire!
