But there was one person who had grown particularly close to both Peter and Moore-Martin they were keen to speak to.

However, when his neighbour Anne Moore-Martin, a retired head teacher, died in similar circumstances 18 months later, the police decided to relaunch an investigation. All while having a relationship with the former lecturer, Field had a string of girlfriends and was in a sexual relationship with Mr Farquhar's neighbour, Ann Moore-Martin who was 57 years his senior.
