Description

The earbuds offer 8 hours of listening on a single charge which is further extended to a lengthy 100 hours with the charging case, allowing you to listen for 100 hours before needing to plug in the charging case to charge it up. The good news is that instruments with a low-frequency range sound more natural than expected, without a synthetic halo. Zero-Pressure AirWings: Our hollow AirWings have a flexible, soft silicone build that partially deflates to conform to the shape and size of your ears for a secure fit with unmatched comfort. It has an indicator on the front (it turns on when charging), and on the back, there is a USB-C connector.

But on the street it is not very comfortable to communicate, there is too much noise, you have to either raise your voice or switch to the phone. Vocals in songs sound clear and well pronounced, I did notice a little bit of sibilance here and there, but overall vocals sounded clear and well balanced although depending on the production of a track they can sometimes be overtaken by bass synthesisers and drum kicks due to the emphasis on the low end. Both are bass boosted, but to my ears, the bass boost of the Dot 2s is mostly in the lower frequencies, which is great IMO for normal listening, since then the boosted bass doesn't tend to overpower the rest of the frequency spectrum. However, I did choose for the A1's, which is because I intend to use them for sport, (gym and running). At the same time, the detail in the treble of the Dot 2s can come over as a bit artificial sometimes (though only just a little).Despite the emphasis on bass, it still sounds well controlled and does not sound bad and provides a deep low-end listening experience to tracks that make use of it.

Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 is not supported by the proprietary Soundcore app, which is also frustrating. For example, in a jeans pocket, it is unlikely to be comfortable to carry but is perfect for a jacket and backpacks.

This is the reason I kept the A1s over the Dot 2s, though if would mostly use them for listening at home, then I would have kept the Dot 2s. I spent about 2 hours in them at most without a break – there was not even a hint of fatigue, which is suitable for a vacuum model. Due to the peculiarities of the emphasis on the low frequencies, the middle here is somewhat failed. The sound quality is perfect and I've tried other brands and various types of ear buds as they usually don't fit well.

If you are looking for a Bluetooth-enabled wireless headset, then this Soundcore headset is ideal for you. I bought these as headphones that I can use to listen to music on my motorcycle and wow I am impressed. The earbuds also feature one-step pairing and can be swapped in and out of the case without any connection issues. In my opinion, it is optimal for the headphones to work for 5-6 hours (at any volume) and have an impressive battery in the case of many recharges.
