But let’s shatter those Spanish-soaked lager dreams: Madrí isn’t made in Madrid, as the name might suggest. The Madrí we have in the UK, Madrí Excepcional, is a collaboration with the original brewer La Sagra and worldwide brand Malson Coors (aka the Coors beer brand). Molson Coors Beverage Company (MCBC) has announced its first collaboration with the La Sagra Brewery, based near Madrid, with the launch of Madrí Excepcional – a new modern European-style lager.

While the company’s history is rooted in beer, Molson Coors offers a modern portfolio that expands beyond the beer aisle.

Like most lagers, sorry 'beers' this just lacks any flavour, I do much prefer a proper real ale beer or craft lager but when I see something new I figure to give it a go, this is no descript, bland and like many other mass produced lagers, nothing at all special. I’d definitely put this in the same leagues as the other branded lagers you’ve probably had: Peroni, Moretti, San Miguel and Estrella Damm.
