Dylan’s friend Kimi says “Winning or losing doesn't matter… It’s really about…making something beautiful, or surprising. Niko and Nedim pass the time by reflecting on their old lives, but they both learn quite quickly that life in Sarajevo will never be the same again. I really enjoyed the movie (especially, at the end, when I caught hubby trying to hide a tear or two he is not going to live this one down, lol). The book is very well written and while probably aimed at 10-13 year olds, it is a wonderful, quick adult read as well.Locations used for filming include an abandoned school in Roleystone, an old house in Baldivis, HBF Stadium (previously known as Challenge Stadium until 2014), Whiteman Park, the Perth Zoo, and the Aviation Heritage Museum in Bull Creek.
