Nintendo will offer Switch owners the option of a more muted palette for their Joy-Cons this summer with the release of four new colors: pastel pink, pastel yellow, pastel purple, and pastel green.

Nintendo just announced that they are going to be releasing not one, but TWO new pastel colored Joy-Con sets for the Switch. That's probably some kind of thing that is bad for business or something, but boy would it be great for us to have the options.They can be a little difficult to track down and may be more than the standard cost of a pair of Joy-Con. We’re not sure if that means that they actually sold out that quick, or if they are just not yet available to purchase. This means we have confirmation that these Joy-Cons will be available in the UK, US and Europe but can't be sure where else they'll be available just yet.

Released to coincide with Splatoon 2, these motion controlled beauties scream out "I bloody love Splatoon" and if that registers with the grandma sitting next to you on the bus, then this is no bad thing. While these official NES style controllers aren't strictly Joy-Con, they do dock on the side of your Switch for charging. The four new colours will come in two new sets: the purple and green come together, while the pink and yellow are bundled in the second pack. There are tons of different designs and color choices out there for you to consider, so make sure you pick the one that pulls your heart the most!
