This medicinal product is contraindicated in patients with known or suspected hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients listed in section 6. Peptac Liquid Aniseed Flavour provides effective relief from heartburn with acid indigestion in adults and children over 12 years of age, including women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Calcium carbonate also helps to neutralize stomach acid, providing relief from heartburn and acid indigestion.

Other Ingredients: Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Saccharin Sodium, Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Propylparahydroxybenzoate (E216), Butylparahydroxybenzoate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Erythrosine Colour (E127), Aniseed Oil, Purified Water. It is safe to take Peptac liquid to relieve indigestion and heartburn associated with pregnancy or when breastfeeding. Peptac liquid contains three active ingredients: sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate.
