I feel this book is considered Adult because the characters are closer to mid 20s and some of the necromancy is descriptive + there’s a bit of language.

As we are starting to move into the summer months this would make an absolutely fantastic fantasy beach read. Sinister, deadly and so seductive you won't be able to tear yourself away from this dark gem of a book' . All of these elements combine to create a book that I didn’t necessarily love, but that I had an absolute blast with.

This task puts Lore in the orbit of both Bastian and Presque Mort Gabriel, both of whom feel oddly familiar. Whitten nicely develops both of Lore’s potential love interests, crafting them as flawed yet viable objects of Lore’s attentions. Lore shot him a dazzling grin, the same one that made Michal’s eyes simultaneously go heated and then narrow before he asked what she wanted.
