Edit: Damn i spoke too soon, Change Your Mind has its fair share of pops and crackles around the middle specially. In 2012, Brandon Flowers told NME that he felt "depressed" after hearing the Strokes' album Is This It. Relatively quiet, and good separation, but I will concede the mix is a little flat, and lacks some of the punch it should, especially for a band as dynamic as the Killers. I suppose it would be a red flag that it says the release is 2011 which would be impossible since Lizard no longer owns the rights.On July 22, 2013, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the album seven-times platinum; [25] by August 2020, it had sold 2,335,495 copies in the UK. We threw away everything [we were working on] and the only song that made the cut and remained was 'Mr. I can't say i'm impressed with the sound, maybe slightly better than the CD (curious of the source).

Vocalist/keyboardist Brandon Flowers has replaced his tonsils with melodrama; he's hijacked Jarvis Cocker's accent to make his Vegas-boy rep sound that much tighter. And now, the resulting Hot Fuss drops on both sides of the Atlantic wrapped in this tabloid backstory, unable to separate its hype from its unabashedly referential sound. My box set was bought used at Amoeba Records about 8 years ago with no warping and little to no scruffs. The album being pressed so quietly makes this worse, because turning the volume up just amplifies the crackle further.

Labels cover etc identifies as the 2016 Euro pressing apart from the matrix which is the same as the 2022 test pressing! Side B is a little less strong, but includes the B-side Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll, which may be one of their best songs.
