Description

It is a recommended precaution that children or adults do not pet, play or sleep with treated animals until the application site is dry. FRONTLINE Spot On does not repel fleas so if the pet visits an infested environment, a few new adult fleas may jump onto them. FRONTLINE Spot On for Cats is for use in the treatment of fleas and the prevention of infestations by fleas and ticks or as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis. Fleas and ticks are killed through contact with your pet’s skin and coat – they don’t need to bite to be killed. You should use Frontline Spot On alongside a household flea spray containing an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR).

Prevention of the multiplication of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) originating from eggs laid by adult fleas for eight weeks after application.

Within 24 hours of landing on your pet, fleas are killed and the treatment last for up to one month. As Frontline Spot On has a non-systemic mode of action, it kills parasites through contact, not via your pet's bloodstream. Please note that parcels weighing over 2kg may be sent via courier due to Royal Mail weight restrictions.

Once applied, the treatment will protect dogs from fleas, ticks and lice - use monthly all year round. Applying FRONTLINE Spot On causes fleas to become hyperexcited, so it’s not unusual for them to become more visible before dying. This is being resolved by Royal Mail and we hope to be able to send any outstanding parcels in the next few days. Step 3: Regularly vacuum your carpets and furnishings and wash your pet's bedding above 60 degrees celcius - this will help to reduce the number of eggs, larvae and pupae in the environment.Treatment of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus).

Frontline Spot On is not a tick repellent so you may still see some ticks on your pet, but they should be killed within 48 hours. When treating infestations of parasites, all in-contact animals should be treated with an appropriate product at the same time. Our Terms and Conditions guarantee that expiry dates will be longer than the medication is required for, at least 6 months from the date of issue.

If they do come into contact with rain within 48 hours after treatment, it’s unlikely that they’ll get so wet that the product is washed away. To treat dogs over 60 kg with FRONTLINE TRI-ACT ®, use the appropriate combination of two pipette sizes that most closely matches the bodyweight. There is no flea product that can repel fleas but treating your dog regularly with FRONTLINE Spot On ensures that fleas are killed within 24 hours, before they can lay eggs. It’s normal to see a few new fleas on your pet even if they have been treated with FRONTLINE Spot On.It kills fleas and ticks on your dog to help protect them from the discomfort and diseases these parasites cause. Frontline Spot On is safe for use in breeding, pregnant and lactating bitches but is not suitable for puppies under 8 weeks of age, or for sick or convalescing dogs. There might even be hair loss or black grit in the coat – this could actually be flea dirt (which is often easier to spot than the flea itself). Unfortunately we are no longer able to send to France, Germany, Slovakia or Sweden due to customs regulations.
