These brands are all recognised as the world’s leading in-line pump manufacturers. What is an in-line pump? Accumulator Tanks can offer even more flow than an inline pump, delivering up to 36 litres per minute. The AccuBoost range of accumulator tanks store water at pressure in the vessel and release this water into the system when there is demand in the property. They are available in a range of different tanks sizes, depending on your requirements, how many outlets you want to run at once and what space you have available in the property. Selected models will fit into a standard kitchen cupboard. Choose TankBoost for a busy home, or when you need to boost water to multiple floors to achieve that enhanced shower performance, even when other outlets are running at the same time. Choose a pumped model when mains water pressure and/or flow are low – or when you are not sure on your mains water pressure/flow. Choose unpumped only when flow is more than 9 l/min and pressure is 2.0 bar. They are commonly used as circulator pumps in situations where water flowing through a piping system needs to be pressurised. An in-line pump is a type of centrifugal pump that has a vertical pump shaft, with inlet and outlet connections in the same line. These pumps differ from most other pumps in that the fluid enters and exits in the same direction. Single stage pumps only use impellers to drive liquid, as opposed to other more complicated systems using push-pull pistons. When natural flow rate is at 1.2 lpm TapBoost will increase the flow up to 7lpm (provided there are no restrictions in the pipework/outlet). If the natural flow rate is greater than 1.2 lpm TapBoost will increase your outlet flow rate up to a maximum of 11 lpm. There are a few variations of this product. To be sure which one you need, you can follow this short guide below:

The Latest Technology

You need to work out whether you want to pump to the shower only or additional appliances, for example bath taps, the toilet cistern or washing machine. The CT Xtra twin range will pump the shower only, all other ranges are suitable for multiple household appliances. View our shower pump selector guide below for further information. Do you want to boost hot AND cold water or hot OR cold water? Hot AND cold water CT Bathroom pumps have been designed specifically to meet the demand for increased water supply to the bathroom. With positive head and negative (universal) head models available in 1.8 or 2.6 Probably the most common application of this type of pump is in domestic hot-water heating systems. This where small in line pumps, usually using an electrical motor impeller, are installed in sealed closed circuit piping. The advantage of a single stage water pump is that the design keeps a water-tight seal. For TapBoost to operate, there must be a natural flow rate from the outlet of at least 1.2 litres mer minute (lpm) In cases where either the hot or cold water is to be boosted a single pump is needed. A single pump only has one impeller which can be connected to either the hot or cold water supply. What bar rating do I need?
