From the Ogwen Visitor centre the path starts proper as it ascends into the picturesque Cwm Idwal. Passing around the shore of Llyn Idwal the next stage of the walk is to climb up alongside the Devil’s Kitchen to the plateau above.

If you’re driving to Finnich Glen / the Devil’s Pulpit, there is some parking nearby. However, as neither the glen nor the parking are signposted, you will want to read my instructions so you park in the best spot. There are many walking routes that take in the peaks of Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. There are also numerous scrambles onto the top of the Glyderau but I’ve only included one in this list.

Not suitable for:

A little further away is the small town of Drymen which has a number of accommodation options. In particular, the Shandon Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is very highly rated. Consider this walk if you’d like to escape the crowds of Ogwen Valley and, aside from the summits, have the trail all to yourself. Prior to 2020, you could also park a little further north at the junction with the B834, however this has been designated for emergency vehicle use only as of 2020, and commenters have reported that penalty notices are issued if you park here.

Anyway, I was excited because I’d get to hate on Rika (one of my favorite pastimes because I’m pathetic okay) but am now deeply offended because my hate for her grew with the series. It’s hard to read a book with a character you hate because if this was my first time, I would’ve just rolled my eyes at her but I swear this fictional character’s very existence is bothersome to my very immature and very petty self. I’m royally pissed that I only get to judge her (in this review) based on this book, because of my upstanding morals (LOL JK that well is drier than me reading the horrible threesome)

Corrupt is much sexier than any of Penelope's other books that I can't even compare. The woman can write the hell out of a sex scene, let me just tell you. But everything about her writing just worked for me. Get ready to be Corrupted, because after reading this, you will never be the same. My boyfriend’s older brother is like that scary movie that you peek through your hand to watch. He is handsome, strong, and completely terrifying. The star of his college’s basketball team and now gone pro, he’s more concerned with the dirt on his shoe than me.
