June 11, 2018 – Rogers/Fido Canada: Rogers and Fido have released the Oreo update for the Galaxy S7 duo. April 17, 2018 – T-Mobile US: The Oreo update for T-Mobile variants of the LG V30 has been delayed. The carrier apparently opted to do so after LG “made a booboo”. The update is now expected to be released in about two weeks.

June 7, 2018 – Verizon US: Verizon pulled the Oreo update for some reason and covered it up as if it never happened. There’s no word if the carrier will reverse course and ship Oreo to the Galaxy S7 devices in the future or if the update is doomed.

Huawei did well to upgrade the software on Huawei P8 to Android 7.0 Nougat in a timely manner, but when it comes to Oreo for P8, the time has run out for the device.
