Silent running? Well that depends. My upper frequency detection system has been lost or replaced with some tinnitus so I simply don't hear the highest noise. Some of the new features look tasty. I'll be trying out the Send/Return feature to see if I can create rigged-up parallel dry path to the effects path. The experiment with discrete Send and Return did work to create a pseudo-parallel path. Kind of funky getting it sorted. This enables wireless control of the B6 from an iPhone/iPad using the iOS/iPadOS Handy Guitar Lab for B6 app. USB (Micro-B) port Connecting a computer makes the following possible. Portable music player, etc. Adjust the volume on the connected device. SD card Use an SD card to save loops and increase loop recording time.

With four DI models and advanced multi-effects, the B6 gives you freedom to explore entirely new sounds. Ideally, though, I'd like to be comfortable with the B6 for all occasions, so I'm hoping the new models and other improvements impress. For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.

Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. Creating you patches for your Zoom B6 Multi Effects Bass Processor can seem daunting, however with the 4.3-inch touch screen it's easy to arrange your signal path by simply dragging and dropping! Choose from over 11 extremely detailed amplifier models, 12 boutique cabinet models and roughly 50 effects! Of course, modern players demand modern solutions and the Zoom B6 is no exception. You can load your own custom Impulse Responses directly to the unit for a familiar tone in your recordings. Whether you need a few flavours of amplifier and cabinet or a plethora of unique effects, Zoom B6 has you covered. Specifications Inputs

As mentioned earlier, you can chain up to 6 effects, which includes the amp emulations. And Zoom has included a wealth of studio-quality effects and stompbox emulations for you to experiment with. Effects of note are the onboard synth bass, synth vocal bass and analogue style octave. Notable amp emulations include the Sunn (Sun CB) and the Polytone Combo, which is popular with double bass players.Amp models, preamps and drives all sound improved: detail, depth, realism, feel. Things getting more realer. Some nice new additions to the preamps and amps that didn't exist on the B3n. Looper: I'm not a looper guy, but if you are and looper time/capacity matter to you, the SD card slot solves this problem At the top right is an input selection switch. The B6 can accommodate two instruments (hurrah!) and this switch simply selects between them. Directly below the input switch is a DI selection switch that cycles through two valve types and two transistor types of modelled DI box. If you’d rather not have a DI box model at the end of your signal chain, there’s also a defeat option. Finally, at the bottom right‑hand side is a bypass switch. It cycles through options of bypass off, bypass effects (leaving any selected DI option in place) and bypass all. Size: the pedal is big for a Zoom pedal...bigger than the G5n I use. I may need to carry it in its own case rather than stuffed in my gig bag. The B6 is very much larger and very much more capable than the B3 and its successor, the B3n. For a start, where the B3n offers a total of 67 individual ‘stompbox’‑style effects or amp models (each one of course separately configurable), the B6 offers around 115. And whereas the B3n enabled each patch to be built from a chain of up to three effects, the B6 accommodates six. But that’s just the beginning of the B6 story; there’s much more to it than just effects count and patch chain length. Probably the easiest way to begin to explain all there is to play with (and there is a lot) is to describe its physical format, so that’s what I’ll do.
