This was a scent that I chose for my friend. She's a fan of very fresh crisp scents like D&G Light Blue but was looking for something a little bit more powdery for wintertime. In Spain we use baby cologne as kids and it used to be common to have a big bottle of family fresh cologne in the house too. This smells just like that.

I find this an even more literal sunscreen scent than Bobbi Brown Beach. Pure Grace is most definitely a unisex scent. So faint, that it is barely detectable after about 30 min. Completely inoffensive, because no one will smell you. It smells like fresh, clean cotton bedding, just brought in from an outdoor washing line in the summer.I didn't think soap though when i first smelled it although i now know by association what that's meant to mean, and I didn't like any of the other philosophy fragrances that were out at that time. inspired by the original and beloved scent, pure grace eau de parfum takes soap and water simplicity to a new sophisticated level with a mix of water lily, leafy greens and musk for a crisp and refreshing feeling that lasts even longer." For those reasons...it has it's place in my collection. Will usually wear it when I'm running to Laundromat & grocery store on a Sunday or something like that. Overall, I quite like it but for the price I'd rather spend it on something else. It's way too soft (even softer than Burberry Brit Rhythm, which is already very soft on me) and if I want the cleanness, I can just take an extra shower and emerge with the same clean smell on me at a bargain price. Still, for those of you who like fragrance that doesn't attract attention and is quite safe, this might just be for you.

Lavender note is not too sharp, it just act in the way giving this perfume an "Aromatic" kind of, yet person who doesn't like "Strong Aromatic scent" or hate "Strong lavender scent" can use it Effortless simplicity in a composition of delicate blush rose balanced by clean dewy greens, neroli and bright orange flower cocooned in the warmth and sensuality of cedarwood and sunkissed musk. The ethereal rose. I love the smell of fresh sheets and clothes imbued with the scent of the sun and the wind they've dried in. This fragrance captures that perfectly. I must admit that at first this didn't appeal to me because it's unlike any of my perfumes. But slowly and quietly it has become one of my favorites. It's very clean but I find a bit of sweetness in it....just a tiny bit. If I wear it to work I know no one will know it's perfume because it smells much like my clothes smell, fresh out of the dryer. When masks were mandatory sometimes I would spray this in the air and wave my mask through it so I could smell it all day. Sometimes I wear this to bed at night as it's very comforting. The musk note is so soft. It's very nice. Something to put on after a shower and you will smell clean for 3-4 hours. Won't last all day and while it's most definitely not a "night-out" scent nor is it a "special occasion" fragrance...it's probably one of the BEST choices for your "casual jeans & T" or "running errands" scents.

But when i pulled on a pad, a whole tread of roots and more pads came along, including a precious flower.Alcohol denat., parfum/fragrance, aqua/water/eau, benzyl salicylate, polysorbate 20, hexyl cinnamal, limonene, linalool, hydroxycitronellal, alcohol, benzyl alcohol, tris(tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) citrate, benzyl benzoate.

The sillage could be better but it's fine by me in that I myself am very sensitive to strong scents, and I work in close proximity with children (face painting, specifically) so I prefer to live in delicate scents that I can't imagine could trigger a migraine or dizzy spell in anybody. I just received this perfume a few days ago and it is NOTHING like I thought it would be! I was under the impression it would smell like a nice, clean, creamy soap. Kinda like a bar of Dove soap. Not at all. To me this smells so, so similar to Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc. I get a lot of that same citrusy coconut vibe that SB has. Almost verging on a citrus cleaner or bug spray. We were cruising on a pedalo by the shore, when my dad decided we'd take a little break on the water, under the shade of a weeping willow (my favorite tree!). We were looking at the frogs and toads, then papa said that I could bend over the boat and grab a lilypad, that he'd hold my feet so I wouldn't trip overboard. If lavender soap and Coppertone had a baby. I loved the sample vial I got and bought the full bottle, but the full bottle smelled quite different. You can trust the main accords proportion they've shown above for this one, exactly it's like that! This was too sharp, screechy, synthetic, and not well blended. Also had an aldehydic dry down that turned metallic. 2nd Philosophy fragrance I've tried where that happened, and it wasn't on my skin either.
