About this deal

We love Terry’s chocolate orange so it made perfect sense to do this recipe for the first cheesecake I have done and it was so easy. I will definitely be making more. The taste is delicious and the texture so creamy. My family loved it. Melt the butter in the microwave on short bursts on in a small pan over a medium heat until fully melted. The egg itself is a gigantic milk chocolate offering with some streaks of white and dark chocolate for decorative purposes. Not with the mini eggs in them! The only part of this recipe that can’t be made dairy free are the Terry’s chocolate orange mini eggs which contain milk. What: Chocolate orange fans, this one's for you - Selfridges’ egg mixes single origin dark chocolate with zesty orange chocolate, and it looks pretty smart too. There are two other delicious flavours available too - a praline and a tasty malted blonde version.

Fortunately, that doesn’t apply here as my brownies are always so gooey and fudgy – they hold themselves together! Do I need weighing scales to make your gluten free Easter chocolate orange brownies? It’s rich, smooth in the mouth and leaves no bad aftertaste. Less sweet than Asda’s white chocolate jazzie egg, it’d make a nice gift even for an adult.Use separate utensils and dishes for condiments, jams and spreads. Never ‘double dip’ your utensils if spreading onto food containing gluten!

This egg is particularly appealing to look at, with a pretty outer shell decorated with swirls of white and dark chocolate alongside crunchy caramel pieces. What: If you’re going for the creme de la creme Easter Egg this year, you can’t go wrong with Ducasse. The master chef has turned his hand to chocolate in recent years and it’s unsurprisingly brilliant, taking single origin cacao from bear to bar then fashioning it into pleasing geometric shapes, designed by French designer Pierre Tachon. What: Can’t choose between milk chocolate and dark chocolate? Choose both with Chococo’s giant half and half treat, which weighs in at a solid half kilo of handcrafted chocolate heaven, including handmade chocolates inside. If you don't want to pay for Terry's chocolate oranges as they can sometimes be a little pricey, you can easily use regular milk chocolate and add in 2tsps orange extract. If you followed the recipe to the letter, then it’s likely that your oven was either too hot, or they were in too long. Overbaking brownies will mean they have no moisture to them and become more like a chocolate cake.
