Description

Compared to the U7QF, the A7G is a downgrade in features. Where the U7Q had Full Array local dimming the A7G makes do without. It’s not a full house for HDR formats either, with the Hisense able to decode HDR10+ but not officially certified for it. In general you can connect a device like a blu-ray player or game console to any HDMI port. The device can then be used by selecting the corresponding HDMI channel on your television. The TV does not feature a One Connect Box, which may make cable management more difficult for some users As a big-screen fitting for sports and movies, it also starts at a slightly cheaper asking price than the U7QF model it replaces. But does the more affordable price suggest the A7G is a downgrade on what came before? Design The Hisense 55A7GQTUK QLED series TV has a sleek and elegant design that complements any room’s decor. Its slim bezels provide an edge-to-edge viewing experience, making it ideal for watching movies and TV shows. The TV also comes with a stand that provides stable support or can be mounted on a wall using a VESA mount. Picture Quality

Once you turn the lights down, more issues surrounding the FALD and LCD technology become apparent with more blooming noticeable around things like subtitles and bright objects like white spaceships against the darkness of space. It is possible to mitigate against some of these issues and making sure your viewing environment is suitable for this type of TV display will help. ARRAffinity cookie is set by Azure app service, and allows the service to choose the right instance established by a user to deliver subsequent requests made by that user. The Hisense 55A7GQTUK QLED Series TV is compatible with VESA wall mounts, allowing you to mount the TV on a wall for a more streamlined look. The TV has a 400mm x 200mm VESA mount pattern, making it easy to find a compatible wall mount. Wall mounting the TV can save space and provide a better viewing experience, especially in smaller rooms. The TV is pretty lightweight even with the stand attached, alerting you to the fact that all that glitters isn’t necessarily metal – but the plastic at the build quality’s heart isn’t apparent from any sort of regular viewing distance.

Continuing the gaming discussion, the 55A7GQ’s HDMIs support ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode) switching with compatible devices (such as the Xbox Series X), and when switched into its dedicated Game picture preset the TV delivers a very respectable 14.6ms of input lag. The Hisense U7QF is a very good midrange LED LCD that uses Quantum Dot technology and also has Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG and HDR10 capabilities along with Dolby Atmos sound onboard. The smart TV system is intuitive and fast with a decent selection of apps as well as Freeview Play and all the UK catch-up services. Gaming input lag is also decent at 17ms but it doesn’t have all the HDMI 2.1 goods for VRR or ALLM.

We didn’t have any issues at all with VIDAA which stands up against other providers such as Android. The Hisense 55A7GQTUK QLED Series TV comes in a 55-inch size, making it a great choice for medium-sized living rooms or bedrooms. However, if you’re looking for a larger TV, Hisense offers a range of sizes in their QLED Series, ranging from 50 to 75 inches. The larger sizes provide a more immersive viewing experience but also a higher price tag.

Smart features are provided by the fifth generation of Hisense’s home-grown VIDAA system. This has evolved into a pretty effective platform these days, combining a crisp, clean layout with good responsiveness and a solid set of video streaming apps that now includes long-term absentee Disney Plus. There’s still no sign of Apple TV+, though. Costco Online UK Limited, UK Home Office, Hartspring Lane, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD25 8JS. Registered in England and Wales No. 8055444 The Hisense U7QF has potential in the sound department, even if you’ll need some additional equipment to realize it. The 55A7GQ delivers a native 4K resolution and support for the HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision high dynamic range formats. There’s no support for the HDR10+ system, but getting support for even one active HDR system (Dolby Vision) on such an affordable TV is good news.

Quantum Dot TV 4K Over one billion shades of colors can be reproduced on your display with quantum dot technology with Hisense A7G QLED 4K Smart TV. Dolby Atmos enabled QLED TV brings breakthrough immersive audio experience to your home whether it is shows, games or live sports. Measuring the inches on your LED television is done by measuring the diagonal distance between for example the upper left corner and the lower right corner of the screen (not the edge). One inch equals 2,54 centimeter, so when you measure 99 centimeter, this means your LED television is 39 inches. Considering it's one of Hisense’s top-end TVs, there's no getting around the fact that the 55U7QFTUK is a disappointment. On the Hisense 55U7QF, the best out of the box present was Cinema Night with gamma set to BT.1886 and all noise reduction and other image manipulation features switched off. Ultra Smooth Motion and Clear motion were also switched off and the Local Dimming was left at default in Cinema Night mode. The supplied remote control is a traditional long plastic affair with the buttons all laid out in a logical manner. There are easy to use menu and directional keys as well as direct one-press access to apps such as Freeview Play, Netflix and Prime, to name three. The remote sits neatly in the hand and is easy to use.
