This is very ambroxan dominant, not much ambergris. I feel the aquatic jasmine and a hint of beautiful green mandarin but the metallic ambroxan overpowers the other notes and as I'm sensitive to it, this wasn't a match for me. In summer I enjoy salty notes but the salt in this feels quite mild, especially compared to Olympéa Solar with its potent saltiness. I don't like the OG, but this flanker is like to be on Santorini. The scent of Greeks sunshine, flowers and the perfect holiday heat. I am so happy I found it, the only bad thing that it is not in production anymore as I read it somewhere. I smelt an empty bottle my roommate had left and I fell in love. I saved up to buy it the original version and I was underwhelmed! Olympea Intense by Paco Rabanne is a Amber fragrance for women. A discreet heart of sweet jasmine and orange blossom are balanced by the potent accord of the ginger flower. i really wish this one worked for me! salty notes really intrigue me, and olympea is one that kept coming up over and over again when i was hunting down perfumes that utilize a salty smell (my first dive was with womanity, which i love, but this ain't about her), so when i finally tried it, i was met with disappointment : This beautifully feminine Olympéa Eau de Parfum, inspired by the Greek goddess, is designed for an energetic, charismatic and full of self-confidence modern-day Cleopatra. Definitely more gourmand than the original, but less than the intense. Not sunscreen category at all!

The longevity of this is really good, I can smell it at least 12 hours on my skin. And I find that this is a strong perfume, it projects a lot so I have to spray mindfully when I wear this. That vanilla ginger white floral combo is quite warming and sensual. The added saltiness makes this more “summer nights” appropriate. The most beautiful citrus-caramely opening that I have ever tried. I was so happy that I found my long awaited perfect sweet/citrus summer fragrance but my happiness lasted for max 1 minute after which it turned into a caramel bomb. Received a sample of this today and it reminds me SO MUCH of my favourite perfume from Next, called Pure Happiness, which I believe is now discontinued. Lovely creamy citrus and warm flowers, uplifting and soft at the same time. Really pleasantly surprised by this!
