Description

The Naga Trinity is the first to use an optical sensor, presumably Razer’s PWM3389, a semi-proprietary take on the PWM3360. The first version of the Naga had a total of seventeen buttons, [3] with twelve being on the left side of the mouse, and a switch on the underside of the mouse that maps them to the keyboard's top number buttons or its numeric keypad. Short and wide, it doesn’t really feel comfortable in my hand whether I opt for a palm or a claw grip.

Those with more nimble digits will probably have less of an issue here, I suspect, but hey, nine reachable buttons is still more than enough for my feeble brain to cope with, so I'm not complaining. Crucially, the Naga Trinity is a lot lighter than Corsair's effort, coming in at just 120g as opposed to 147g. It’s always been hard for me to recommend Razer’s Naga line, not because they’re bad mice but because they’re not the mice for me. A tökéletes designt RGB háttérvilágítás egészíti ki, valamint a három cserélhető panel - 3, 7 vagy 12 gombos. It's easy to just stick to a few extra buttons and forget about the rest, but you'd be missing out on a lot of the gameplay improvements they bring.

Sean Buckley of Engadget disliked the Naga Hex because of its plastic surface and how the arrangement of the buttons on the side resulted in them feeling cramped. Similar to historical Naga mice updates, the Naga X had mixed reviews from critics, mostly since it dropped one of the Naga Pro's defining characteristics, the swappable side plates. The best thing you can do here is to bind every extra button you have and make adjustments to the ones you find yourself using least. There have been eleven iterations in the Naga series, not counting the redesigned versions, with release dates spanning from 2009 to 2020. DPI stands for "dots per inch", and is a unit for measuring the sensitivity of a mouse, with a higher DPI equaling a higher sensitivity. I'll admit to doing a bit of a double-take when I saw how much the Razer Naga Trinity goes for these days.

The original Razer Naga had a positive reception, although many pointed out the obvious targeting towards MMO gamers. I must admit, I felt the loss of Corsair's movable number pad here, as the farthest 1-3 buttons were just out of reach for me.The bigger issue with these side buttons, especially compared to some past iterations of the Naga, is that there aren’t any bumps that will help guide players in the middle of frantic combat, which can lead to casting the wrong spells at the wrong time. The Naga Trinity and Naga Pro have an interchangeable amount of side buttons, though both have a maximum of twelve. Personally, I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night, let alone a dozen different configurations on the side of a mouse, so I tended to use either the two-button option or the seven-button wheel most often.
