If you want to save your existing recordings it may be difficult because I believe that you can't just copy them off the HDD by inserting the HDD in a caddy and connecting it to a PC etc as they are encrypted, so you would have to overcome that as well.

And since then it's skipped during a much more recent recording, it was an episode in the latest series of 'bakeoff' I'd had on series record. It was unwatchable. When recording two channels on the same multiplex, you can also watch a third, but if the two recordings are on different multiplexes, the third channel is limited to the same multiplex as the other two. The signal quality is often 100%. I do use manual tuning, I got the codes from Digital UK. Maybe I should re tune every week but surely that shouldn't be necessary. So perhaps if I bought the new model it might work better, although that is an expensive gamble.I can't express how disappointed I am though that basic support material isn't readily available via humax support, words fail me at times.

What a full format will do (that may be helpful) is to map out any marginal sectors; this is done by the disk controller firmware and so is a level below the file system and hence will persist when reformatted. I do the manual search per the users manual. My aerial is pointing at the Rowridge transmitter so I key in the codes 24,27,25,22,28 and search and save in turn. I have also tried the Default setting method but this is really an auto tune and doesn't seem to work as well. Can the system format a new unpartitioned drive or do I need to run a linux Live CD and partition and format the drive first? The rear panel is even more interesting. The most significant addition is HDMI output, which offers a clean all-digital connection to your flat-panel TV and allows you to upscale Freeview pictures to 720p, but strangely not 1080i. It’s taken a while for HDMI to make its way to the Freeview PVR market but with Humax and Topfield leading the way, others are sure to follow suit. Also, do I simply remove, reformat and replace the drive, power up, reset to factory settings and go from there or do I somehow need to restore some software? E.g. where is the Loader stored? If on the disk, how do I restore it? The Humax PVR9300T is a the bigger brother to the popular 9150T, and whilst you get all the same benefits there are also some essential additions which make it a serious device for the power user. I must admit I haven't actually tried formatting the drive. I didn't want to lose any recorded programs but my father tells me there is nothing he is worried about losing so will try a reformat of the existing drive first before buying a replacement

Tesco Mobile is to start charging new and recently joining pay-monthly customers to use their mobiles in Europe from 2024.Well, the wait is over with the launch of this model, which hopefully builds on the brilliance of its predecessor. I've had my unit since about late 2011 and have never been able run a software update on it, the version showing is UPTTF 1.00.26 July 7 2011. Auto or manual updates do not work. The 9300T's operating system oozes user-friendliness across the board, with top-notch menu design, ultra-fast reactions and a magnificently intuitive remote that you can use with your eyes shut. Auto channel tuning snaps into action from the first power-up, while the setup menu is so straightforward that any tweaks can be carried out without consulting the manual.
